Artist's Studio

I am always intrigued by studios and feel that each one tells a story about that artist. Some messy, some organized, each has their own character.
After a visit to the Mardi Gras Studio in New Orleans, I was taken back by the artisan’s table…cups overflowing with paint, brushes and supplies stacked throughout, this itself left so much to the imagination and the inspiration for this piece. I have taken the liberty to add my own vibrancy of the colors, and personalization to the cups. This oil on canvas has been an exciting and favorite piece to create!
