Magic Hour Is Upon Us

While strolling through the streets of Florence Italy, at that beautiful time of day shortly before sunset, I was struck by the intense glow of sunlight at the tops of buildings in contrast with the street-life below already bathed in the artificial light streaming from shops, restaurants and headlights. I painted this image in studio from my own memories and photographs.
