Train Sounds on Lake Aldred

Plein air painting on a lake where we have a family home on the shore.It’s Amish country in the hills of Pennsylvania. Completely quiet without even the sounds traffic and civilization to break the stillness. Except, late every evening you can hear the wheels of a train and it’s shrill whistle creating memories of times past.
