Solace

"Solace"-Inspired by my recent trip to Rhode Island. I found this particular spot in Jamestown to be a nice escape and a complete contrast from all the civil unrest and anxiety the nation was facing from the pandemic. Upon arrival in Rhode Island and after a week-long quarantine I ventured out to Jamestown my favorite painting spot. After a few plein air studies, many photos, some sunburn, and a half a day hiking up and down the rocks, I envisioned this painting and I am pleased with the outcome.
