These dramatic granite rocks leading up to the picturesque lighthouse and other buildings perched on the ledge presented a challenge and attraction I couldn't resist. Painted in oil on canvas en plein air at the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and Park in Bristol, Maine, on a bright morning.
