Kamas Theater

September mornings in Kamas sparkle, but the Kamas Theater on Main Street is for sale. It needs an update, if people insist on those lounge eats. I love its signage and the subtle changes in colors in the shadow of this building.

There is a Latin street food restaurant called Sur just to the right of the painting’s frame. It’s worth the trip. Maximiliano, the proprietor, makes a super Chili Relleno and churros that are warm and crisp on the outside. I was part of the lunch crowd for several days.
