This painting was made on the hottest day of this year here in Kent, SE England. 33 degrees with no shade and I hose to do a large plein air piece. For me th straw and hay bales are an annual treat and they add another dimension to the landscape..thyere like scuplture The painting is oil on board and was done in one 3 hour session. Im pleased with it as I feel I captured something of the heat of the day
