Low tide ,Rye

This was a recent plein air painting of the fishing boats at Rye in East Sussex, England
Its painted in oil on board in one session. I was pleased with the design an the contrast in this one. I painted the boats first as i was once told" paint what moves first!" By the time id finished the boats were floating!
