Breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains

This was painted along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. I had just turned in my work to the Floyd Plein Air Festival, and went back into the mountains to paint for me. It was a beautiful evening, and the painting just flowed. Later, the judge of the show stopped by and painted also. He saw my work and said, "Wow, Peg, I wish you could have entered THAT painting." I said, "Me too!"
