Annabelle

Annabelle. A black cat holed up at my girlfriend’s house during the pandemic. The cats (2) are allowed out twice a day. I was sitting on the porch painting a project to paint black on black and Annabelle modeled for me one night. Painted in oil on 16x20 black acrylic gessoed pre-stretched canvas. So black cat on black comforter, on black canvas in the black of the night. A nocturne of sorts.
