Butterfly Bush, Lilies, and Trumpet Vine, 20x16 oil on canvas (2020). Its an odd time, a pandemic, climate change, hurricanes, lock down at my girlfriend's, an election, riots, unemployment, foreclosure, painting whats at my feet in bloom from her garden in the summer heat from a makeshift studio on the back porch, entering a salon competition. Finding beauty and creativity in otherwise difficult circumstances.
