Granny's Heirlooms

This is a painting of a glass picture that my Grandmother made, and some very old blue glass bottles have saved too. Grandma is who first put a paint brush in my hands. She taught ceramics for years. I painted a mother and child figurine with her. When my brother broke the wash basin that went with this pitcher, decided if wanted to be sure to hold on to this piece, that it needed to be painted. This original remains in my private collection. Granny's Heirlooms indeed.
