"Summer Evening on Spa Creek-Annapolis" was painted en plein air during a beautiful June evening in Annapolis MD. During the painting process a fire engine on call parked behind me and the men raced to a boat to answer an emergency call on the water. Spa Creek was filled with a great deal of light and people that evening!
