Sierra Meadow eastern Sierra

This meadow is beautiful all year round. In summer, when the aspen are green they provide respite from the July sun. Often a lone boulder seems to attract a "Quakie" or two, and shelters as it grows alongside. The warmth of this scene called me to paint it. There just seemed to be a glow of life around everything. I often go to the eastern Sierra to paint, hike, and camp, until the pass is closed for the winter.
