Sabrina

A portrait of my wife, Sabrina. As an artist, I tend to be really hard on myself when it comes to capturing the likeness of those close to me. This is my most recent painting of my wife. Its also my best painting of her, thus far, as I've really captured more than her likeness. I see my wife, rather than a flawed portrait. Orange acrylic with Matte medium under-painting on watercolor paper. Portrait painted with black and white gouache.
